Early on in my career and prior to entering the Jewish communal field, I was an Account Executive at Philadelphia’s largest theme party producers; The Theme Factory. Upon moving to New York in the mid-nineties, I entered the corporate marketing world as the Director of Marketing for Cohen’s Fashion Optical – a large retail optical chain with over 200 corporate and franchise locations in the North East. I was responsible for planning and executing corporate meetings, conferences and special events for over 400 employees in New York, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Florida.
For more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of planning exceptional and unforgettable events for parties of 8 to 800. The driving force in my event work has always been my belief that parties are important. They are essential celebrations of life that allow us to freeze time and honor meaningful milestones.
After leaving New York in 2004, I moved back to my roots in Philadelphia, but kept my New York life alive by becoming the Continental Marketing and Membership Consultant for Jewish Community Centers Association’s Mandel Center for Excellence in Leadership and Management, based in New York. I consulted for over 100 JCCs throughout North America, specifically in the areas of customer service training, financial resource development, marketing and membership.
Prior to consulting, I lived and worked in New York as the Communications and Marketing Director for the JCC of Mid-Westchester in Scarsdale and the Sid Jacobson JCC in East Hills. It was through my experience working in top JCC’s that I was selected to be the Continental Marketing Consultant to the entire field.
I have had incredible opportunities throughout my career and have worked on special projects and events for many clients. For a more comprehensive list of events I’ve managed and projects I’ve been a part of, please click here.
